DR COREY DYER

B.Sc(Clin Sci) M.H.Sc(Osteopathy)

“Being in pain really affects people’s quality of life. It is a great relief for people to know that they do not have to be in pain, even if the pain has been there a long time.”

It is Corey’s drive and passion for seeing his patients leave their appointment in better health that saw him establish Southside Wellbeing over 18 years ago. Setting out to establish a dynamic team that is always learning how to best use their skills to help others, Corey has achieved just that - and much more.

“I love that my patients benefit from coming to see me. I love seeing them develop over time. The way they walk out after a treatment standing taller, more in their center and looking satisfied and ready to meet the world. Most of all I love that Osteopathy has allowed me to be useful to people, and I am very grateful for that.”

With over 20 years of experience, Corey has continued to upskill and develop a diverse range of skill sets in Osteopathy. This includes Children’s Osteopathy, Cranial Osteopathy, Biodynamics, and Obstetrics. This has seen him looking after many professional dancers in Melbourne, and working with yoga teachers and students to help improve their practice, prevent injuries, and learn the anatomy behind yoga. Corey is also a faculty member with the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation in Australia and has lectured at Victoria University to Masters level students, as well as establishing a mentoring and development program for the clinical team at Southside Wellbeing.

Corey’s love for Osteopathy began at an early age when he recognized that the holistic and encompassing philosophy of Osteopathy complemented his natural thinking about health and the body perfectly.
